Fire Officials in Scott say they are investigating a suspicious fire at a vacant home on Albarado Road.
Scott Fire Cheif Chad Sonnier says the fire occurred Monday afternoon at around 4:21 p.m. in the 100 block of Albarado Road.
Upon arrival, firefighters say they observed heavy fire coming from the home, but were able to quickly bring the fire under control.
An investigation of the incident revealed that the home had been vacant for several months and the fire appeared to be suspicious in nature.
