The Lafayette Regional Airport Commission and the Lemoine Company will be kicking off the construction for the new terminal at the airport.
The Lemoine Company of Lafayette will begin removing Hangar 9, a utility building and an RTR tower to make way for the new terminal building.
The two groups will announce the beginning of the construction project starting at 9 a.m. The announcement will be made at Hangar 9 on the Lafayette Regional Airport airfield next to the current terminal and the rental car parking lot.
