Residents along the Rim Road and Pont des Mouton area have reported seeing coyotes on their property recently.
Sightings of coyotes in suburban and even urban areas are not unusual, but one resident wanted to be sure people in the area were keeping an eye on their cats, chickens and small dogs. She said that there are wooded areas nearby, but she’s never seen a coyote before during day hours.
