Jefferson Davis Parish – A 57-year-old Roanoke man is accused of attempting to run pedestrians over that were catching crawfish in a roadside ditch in Jefferson Davis Parish.

On April 18, 2019, deputies were called to LA Hwy. 26 and LA 1126 in reference to the incident, according to Chief Deputy Christopher Ivey, spokesperson for the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were provided a video of the vehicle driving on the shoulder of the roadway near eleven pedestrians, including children, stated Ivey.
