Police say they are investigating after an overnight shooting in the parking lot of the Jennings Wal-Mart.
Chief Danny Semmes says the shooting occurred around 10:00 pm on Monday after two vehicles met up in the parking lot.
Semmes says that one person suffering from several gunshot wounds drove himself to the Jennings Hospital. That person was transported by Airmed to an area trauma center where he is in stable condition.
Investigators are looking for surveillance video from local businesses in the area of the Wal-Mart and Highway 26 that may help them with the investigation.
No suspects have been identified in connection with the shooting.
Semmes says the department will release more information when it becomes available.
