A convenience store employee in Jeff Davis Parish has been arrested, accused of taking over $25,000 from that business.
Jeff Davis Sheriff’s detectives arrested 34-year-old Mary Alice Louis of Lake Arthur in the theft from a local convenience store.
The store was not named.
The Sheriff’s Office says that Louis had allegedly been taking money from the store over the past 18 months.
Louis was arrested on a warrant for theft over $25,000. She was booked into the parish jail on a $10,000 bond.
