A Ragley woman was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly shooting her neighbor’s goat.
Jeff Davis Parish deputies arrested 53-year-old Karen Sue Myers on Tuesday after a complaint from a neighbor that she had allegedly shot their goat. Deputies say that the goat had been shot in the hindquarter and that neighbors advised them that this instance was the third time Myers had shot the goat.
The incident occurred on Duke Road in Ragley.
Myers was arrested and booked on charges of aggravated cruelty to animals. No bond has been set.
