One person is dead after being hit by an 18-wheeler in Welsh.
According to Welsh police 24-year-old Destin Vidrine of DeQuincy, La. was hit by an 18-wheeler just before midnight near I-10. Vidrine was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Police say the driver was not impaired a the time of the crash.
