Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a second person in connection with an August slaying in Topsy.
Corey James Lapoint, 33, of Ragley, was arrested and booked with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and simple battery.
David Wade Clarke, 28, of Lake Charles was arrested in August and booked with first-degree murder. More arrests are expected.
Devin Marc Sanders was the victim; the incident happened August 10.
