Nakather Theodile, 38, was booked with unauthorized use of an access card, obstruction of justice and malfeasance in office, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office said.

City Marshal Fernest Martin called the Sheriff’s Office and requested an investigation of an employee in his office, the spokesman said.

The investigation allegedly determined that Theodile had used the department’s credit card for her personal expenses, then tried to hide it, the spokesman said.

Records show she posted $2,000 bond and was released.
