New Iberia artists and hobbyists can now get their crafting supplies right at home.
Hobby Lobby officially opened today on 900 E. Admiral Doyle Drive. Before, people in the area had to drive out of town to get what they need from the nearest store location in Lafayette.
“I love to buy my supplies at Hobby Lobby and we’ve been traveling to Lafayette pretty often. So this is really exciting to have a local Hobby Lobby that we can come to every day if we need to. We really appreciate their support of our community,” said art instructor Darnelle Delcambre.
Hobby Lobby’s website says that the store is primarily an arts-and-crafts store but also includes hobbies, picture framing, jewelry making, fabrics, floral and wedding supplies, cards and party ware, baskets, wearable art, home accents and holiday merchandise.
