The Iberia Parish Coroner has released the identity of a woman who was stabbed to death last week.
Her name was Abigail LeBlanc, and she was 26 years old, the coroner said.
A man identified as her boyfriend, Tren Jude Mallet, 31, was arrested and booked with second-degree murder after her body was found at a Weeks Island Road home.
Deputies say he was still at the scene when they arrived and he was arrested without incident.
