New Iberia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting on Oak Street on Sunday.
On Sunday December 23, police were called to the scene of a shooting on the 900 block of Oak Street.
The victim, a 15-year-old male, was air lifted to a Lafayette hospital with moderate injuries. The victim was listed in stable condition.
Investigators were able to identify a suspect 21-year-old Aries Antoine. Warrants have been issued for her arrest for attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault.
Antoine is believed to be operating a 2010 Honda Accord, grey in color, with Louisiana license plate 313BJE.
