A local church group is showing its appreciation for first responders across Acadiana.
Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church hosted a luncheon at their New Iberia location to treat officers, medics and firefighters to a meal.
Church leaders say it’s a way to show them the community supports them and will help them when needed.
