New Iberia Police say they are looking for a suspect wanted in a homicide investigation.
Police say they are looking for 22-year-old Jamail Anthony Ledet in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Jakil Sophas in September.
The shooting occurred on Ann Street and Twenty Arpent Road in New Iberia. Ledet has a warrant for first-degree murder.
Ledet, according to officials, is approximately 5’07” and weighs approx 160 pounds. Ledet has brown eyes and black hair.

Ledet is considered armed and dangerous.
