SULPHUR, La. — A high speed chase on I-10 Eastbound has ended in Lafayette Parish with one suspect in custody.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the chase began in Sulphur in Calcasieu Parish and ended in Lafayette Parish next the University Avenue Exit.
One suspect was taken into custody at approximately 7:12 p.m.
LSP say that the suspect bailed out on foot near the University Avenue exit before taken into custody by authorities.
Multiple agencies assisted in the the pursuit. Details on the driver and what led to the pursuit have not yet been released.
