LAFAYETTE, La. — April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and an Acadiana organization is shining light on the issue.
According to Hearts of Hope, on average they work with 1,000 survivors of sexual assault each year.
And as Kendria LaFleur reports, they want those impacted by sexual assault to know help is available.
