The Hotel Cazan in Mamou is sponsoring a weekend conference February 1 to 3 hoping to solve the cold case of a young mother who went missing in May of 1968.
Alice Marie Reeves brought her infant daughter to a baby sitter in Mamou and was never seen again. Her last known address was New Street in Ville Platte.
The keynote speaker will be Tim Miller, founder and head of Texas EquuSearch.
