The Mamou Police Department is currently looking for a woman reported missing today.
According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, Anique Whitehurst was last seen Friday at around 9 p.m. in Mamou.

Family say they have been trying to contact her by phone, but have no idea where she could be. She was last seen driving a 2016 Chevy Traverse, grey in color. The back window is “busted,” according to the post. Her license plate number is 200CFS.
If anyone has any information about her whereabouts, they are asked to call the Mamou Police Department at 337-468-5615 or at 337-468-5221. All callers will remain anonymous, the post states.
