UPDATE: The woman reported missing in Evangeline Parish has been located and is safe.
Annette Kay Dauphine was reported missing by her boyfriend on Wednesday.
She reported to the Sheriff’s Office on Friday where she was questioned and released.
The case has been closed.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing person.
Annette Kay Dauphine, 36, was reported missing on Friday, November 2 by her boyfriend, according to police. He says Dauphine left his residence on Saturday, October 27 from the 1400 block of Peachtree Lane in Ville Platte. She left to go to her parent’s residence in St. Martinville and made it safely, according to her boyfriend. The following day Sunday, October 28, 2018, Dauphine was to go to her Aunt’s residence in Jeanerette but never arrived. The reporting person has been unable to make contact with his girlfriend after learning she made it to her parent’s residence safely.
Annette Kay Dauphine was last seen wearing a purple LSU sweater and blue shorts.
