Lake Charles Police say they have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a May 19 shooting incident.
On Wednesday, May 29, police arrested 18-year-old Samuel Singleton of Lake Charles in connection with a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Holmes Street.
Investigators say that one person received minor injuries.
The victim told police that the shooting stemmed from an earlier physical altercation with Singleton. Police say that following the altercation Singleton was asked to leave the residence by the victim. Singleton allegedly returned sometime later and began a verbal altercation before shooting the victim.
Singleton was arrested and booked on a charge of attempted second-degree murder. His bond was set at $500,000.
