Deputies in Calcasieu Parish say they are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that damaged a mailbox.
Officials say that on April 22 the deputies were dispatched to Hollow Cove Lane in Moss Bluff in reference to a hit and run. The suspect truck, which fled the scene, has been identified as a newer model gray Toyota Tacoma with a long wheelbase and extended cab.
The suspect struck a large brick mailbox with the front right bumper area of the truck and fled. The truck should have sustained obvious damage, including a broken headlight, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office
