Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputies have arrested two men in separate child sex cases.
Darryl Zeno, 56, of Sulphur, was booked with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile; and 3 counts of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He’s accused of having sex with a 14-year-old on three occasions in January. He allegedly gave the girl drugs, detectives say.
Zeno, who was already in custody at the Calcasieu Correctional Center for unrelated charges, was arrested and booked with these charges last week. His bond is set at $450,000.
Raymond P. Casteel, 30, Sulphur, was booked with three count felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. He’s accused of having sex with a 15-year-old girl three times in January. The victim told police that she met him once in person and then communicated with him on social media before they had sex. Casteel was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. He was released April 13 after posting $75,000 bond.
CPSO Detective Kara Adams is the lead investigator on both cases.
