One person is dead following a shooting in Lake Charles.
Lake Charles police say the shooting happened on Thursday, March 7 at 6:17 p.m., at the intersection of N. Goos and Knapp Street.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and later died as a result of injuries. Police have identified the victim as 34-year-old Javid Dwayne Duhon of Lake Charles.
No arrests have been made.
