Detectives in Calcasieu Parish are hoping to identify a man caught on video surveillance stealing over $8,000 worth of electronics from a local elementary school.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on the man who was captured by video surveillance breaking into the College Oaks Elementary on February 13 in Lake Charles. Detectives say the man stole $8,000 in iPads and laptop computers before riding off on his bicycle.
The man, according to detectives, was seen at 2:00 am the following morning attempting to sell the items at a restaurant on West Prien Road in Lake Charles.
