A man was arrested on Monday on a warrant of attempted murder.
On June 8, 2018, the Lake Charles Police responded to 2705 Guy Street in reference to a shooting. During the course of the investigation, detectives learned Domenique Nelson Bryant was involved in the commission of the crime, according to Sergeant Brenda Desormeaux, Department Spokesman.
A warrant was secured charging Bryant with attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, and armed robbery with the use of a firearm.
On February 18, 2019, Lake Charles Police were notified that Bryant was apprehended by the Baton Rouge Police Department and was being held on local charges, stated Desormeaux. Bryant is currently being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish jail and waiting to be transported back to Calcasieu Parish.
Bryant’s bond was set at $2,250,000.
