The Sulphur Police Department says they are investigating after ninety vehicles were burglarized at local hotels.

Police say they received a call at 1:00 am on Thursday of vehicle burglaries at the Holiday Inn on Arena Road. While investigating those burglaries, officers received a report of other instances of vehicle burglaries at the Hampton Inn on Henning Drive.

Police say that several more calls were made reporting vehicle burglaries at four other Sulphur hotels. Those hotels included America’s Best on Garrett Drive, the Fairfield Inn and Redroof Inn on Ruth Street and the Quality Inn on 108.

Officers say that multiple firearms and other miscellaneous items were stolen from the vehicles.

Detectives say they are searching for a silver/grey 4 door newer model car in connection with the burglaries. The vehicle was occupied by four passengers and a driver at the time.
