One man is dead after an overnight house fire in Sulphur, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Deputies say they are investigating the fatal fire which occurred in the 2600 block of Roxton Street around 12:30 am on Sunday. Four occupants were in the home at the time of the fire.
Three of the occupants managed to make it out of the home. One occupant received minor injuries and another was transported to a Texas burn unit with significant injuries, according to deputies.
The fourth occupant, a 30-year-old man, was confirmed to have died in the fire. The identity of the victim was not released.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says that the home did not contain smoke alarms.
More information on the fire is expected to be released.
