Three people were arrested in connection with an armed robbery on Thursday.
Officers responded to West Hale Street, near Prien Mall, to speak with the victim.
According to the victim, he was walking toward the mall and noticed three people ahead of him who were walking in the same direction. The victim says the three suspects then turned around and approached him.
During the encounter, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded the victim to hand over his belongings. Police say the victim resisted and was hit by the gun and punched several times.
The suspects allegedly robbed the victim of his electronic devices and then fled.
While officers were speaking with the victim, the three three suspects were seen at a nearby business and were identified by the victim.
Seventeen-year-old Davionte Montgomery, 20-year-old Dequindrious Howard, and 19-year-old Quinterro Page were each booked into jail with armed robbery.
