The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect wanted in the theft from a business in Sulphur.
Deputies say the theft occurred on December 19 at a business on South Cities Service Highway.
Surveillance video reviewed by the department shows a suspect cutting through a chain link fence and driving through the gate in a white, two-door truck. Deputies say the video showed the suspect using the business’s forklift to load a diesel generator and two arc welders into the back of the truck before driving off.
Deputies say they began investigating the theft on January 2.
