The Lake Charles Police Department says they are investigating over 65 vehicle burglaries that occurred on Saturday, January 5th at a parking lot on North Lakeshore Drive.
The police department says that the burglaries occurred between the hours of 5:00 am and 3:00 pm at the parking lot. According to KPLC, the lot is required parking for Cameron LNG employees who take a shuttle from the lot to work.
Police say that victims are still coming forward to report stolen items and that detectives are actively searching for leads in the case.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Lake Charles Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
