Iota firefighters worked a house fire this morning.
They were called to the 700 block of South Second Street to a report of a trailer on fire.
With assistance from the Egan Volunteer Fire Department and the Iota Police Department, the fire was extinguished within 17 minutes, Chief David Douget said.
Investigators believe the fire started with an unattended pot on the stove.
No injuries were reported.
