Lake Charles Police are requesting information on a hit and run crash involving a motorcycle.
Officers say the crash happened Sunday August 9, 2018 at 11:13 pm at the intersection of McNeese Street and Sale Lane in Lake Charles. The hit and run involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.
According to police, an investigation revealed that the motorcycle was traveling east on McNeese Street when a white Nissan car traveling west turned left in front of the motorcycle causing it to strike the car on the front passenger side. After turning in front of the motorcycle, the Nissan fled the area and was last seen traveling south on Sale Lane.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained moderate to severe injuries.
