The Acadia Parish Fire Department, Eunice Fire Department, and St. Landry Parish Fire District 6 held a blood drive for Scott Daville today.
Daville, 54, died Friday morning after succumbing to injuries he sustained in an attempted vehicle burglary-turned shooting on Thursday at his home in Eunice.
The blood drive was from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eunice Fire Department.
Daville was the father and father-in-law of two Eunice firefighters.
“Mr. Scott was involved with a lot of benefits that we’ve put on, so it’s only right that we just try to do something for him and his loved ones,” said Eunice firefighter operator Christian Walker.
