The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has confirmed that wind damage in Crowley Thursday morning was an EF1 tornado
That tornado occurred at around 10:15 am Thursday with winds estimated at 104mph. The touchdown, which was brief, happened was along Hwy 13, South of Crowley.
Damage included several snapped trees in the path of the tornado.
