Two Crowley organizations are getting help with improving the city.

First National Bank is donating more than $18,000 to help buy computers and other materials.

$16,000 will go to Crowley Main Street.

The other $2,200 will benefit Empowering the Community for Excellence, a non-profit that offers free tutoring to underprivileged children.

“Sometimes I have to pinch myself,” said Audrey Spencer, Director, Empowering the Community for Excellence. “I don’t really believe this is real, but I’ve gotten so much help from the community,”  “I started the program with my own personal money, but I needed the community to help me to sustain the program.”
