An Acadia Parish resident and native of Iota is celebrating her 107th birthday today.
Encore Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Crowley says that one of their residents, Cecelia Miller, is celebrating her 107th birthday today with the center.
The centenarian will be honored this year with a royal horse and buggy ride during the International Crowley Rice Festival parade on Saturday, October 20.
Cecelia was married to Duclide Young and has one daughter, four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. According to Encore, Ms. Miller enjoys conversations with friends, a hot cup of coffee, and a competitive game of bingo.
