On Saturday, June 2, the Lafayette Public Library will hold it’s Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration and Bicycle Safety Festival. The Library celebration will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Main Branch and the Bicycle Festival runs from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Parc Putnam this Saturday in Downtown Lafayette.
The theme for this year’s celebration is entitled, “Libraries ROCK!” The event will feature music from Sir Crazy Pants, the Zoo-Zoom: The Little Zoo on Wheels, magician Mitch Reed as well as fun jumps, crafts, food trucks, and more.
The library’s Makerspace Lab will also be open for the event.
