CROWLEY, La. – A 47-year-old Carencro woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing money.
Bernadette Roger was recently arrested for falsely writing checks out of an account, which was set up for an elderly community in Crowley, according to the Crowley Police Department’s Facebook page.
In total, the sum amount that was written totaled $20,000.
Roger was arrested on a charge of felony theft and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
