Today’s Cool School is Jesse Owens Elementary in Gueydan!
Students in Mrs. Rani Broussard’s Speech-Language Therapy Class completed lessons about schools of fish and the sea. Upon completion of these lessons, they engaged in crafts designed to target following directions, concepts, and articulation skills, as well enhance and expand upon expressive language skills. These crafts include a large fish made up of smaller individual fish based upon the story “Swimmy” and submarine portholes which depicted what they would like to see if they could go under the sea.
