State Fire Marshal deputies say they were called to the scene of a small fire a “Smoke N Mirrors” Vape Shop on Wednesday evening.
Deputies say that the fire appears to have started in the marquis sign on the exterior of the building. A person passing by the business noticed sparks on the sign and called 911. Investigators do not consider the fire to be suspicious at this time.
Rodeo Drive was closed for a short time while crews worked to extinguish the fire and investigate its cause. A spokesman for the Abbeville Fire Department says that no one was injured during the fire.
