The lights went on at Santa on the Pond in Iota.
The annual Christmas event held by the Frey family in Iota began Friday night. The light display on Harmon Road is a little different this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead of a "walk-about" style tour of the lights, the event will be drive thru. The Freys say they will have helpers directing taffic ensuring a smooth run.
Pictures with Santa will still happen and goody bags will be given out to children.
"We feel that this is the safest way to be able to have Santa on the Pond this year, after all we don't want anyone especially Santa getting sick. He will be very busy for the next few weeks and the last thing we want is for him to not be able to bring presents to everyone on Christmas Eve!" the Freys said of the event this year.
The lights will be on each night for viewing.
Santa on the Pond began at 6pm on Friday December 11
