The 2019 CFMA Annual Cajun Awards and Music Festival is continuing today at the Rayne Civic Center.
The event is held by the Cajun French Music Association.
The event features an awards ceremony honoring the best in Cajun music and musicians and includes a two-day dance festival with award winning Cajun bands providing the music.
The Grammy-style awards ceremony, sponsored by CFMA, includes awards for Band of the Year, Best Accordionist, Best Fiddler, Best Male and Female Vocalist, Song of the Year, and Best Recording of the Year.
Admission to the event is $10.00, children under 12 are free.
