There was a break in the main waterline south of U.S. 190 in Basile, officials say.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, crews were on the scene repairing the line.
The waterline break affects residents South & North of U.S. 190 between Paul Bellon Road and Martin Luther King Aveune, along with residents East & West of Miguel Road and South of Miguel Road. In total, approximately 80 customers are affected.
Once it has been fixed, affected customers will be under a boil order until further notice.
