Acadia Parish will begin spraying for mosquitoes via aerial application starting on Thursday.
The areas that are the most heavily impacted will be prioritized.
The parish submitted their initial request for help on Sunday morning, but due to the fact that the parish has never utilized aerial application in the past, there were several roadblocks before the process could begin.
