Despite last year’s overwhelming crowds and safety concerns, Build A Bear’s “Pay Your Age” promotion is returning to stores across the country.

This time, however, Build A Bear Workshop is offering limited tickets to those who are interested in participating. Customers will need to enter for a chance to receive a ticket to pay their age.

The company says more than 200,000 guests around the world are expected to receive a “Pay Your Age” limited ticket. Those tickets will be redeemable during two periods from June 24 through June 28.

The deadline to enter the promotion is June 16.

A random drawing will take place on June 17 to select the 213,000 Pay Your Age Limited Ticket recipients. They will be notified by email on June 21, according to the company. The company’s rules state that each ticket can be redeemed for up to two people to each pay their age.

Last year, guests lined up outside of Build A Bear stores across the country to take part in the Pay Your Age Promotion.

Large crowds at several locations, including the Acadiana Mall, caused stores to limit the number of guests or close completely.

The company’s Count Your Candles Sweepstakes will also continue this year.
