UPDATE: Family says missing Kaplan woman home safe

UPDATE: The family of the missing Kaplan woman who was last seen in Lafayette is now home safe.

Hannah McMellon was reported missing by her family after she was last seen around 8:30 pm on May 26 in Lafayette.

Family told KATC that McMellon was heading back to Kaplan when she went missing. The Kaplan Police Department investigated the disappearance.

A family in Kaplan says they are searching for their missing family member, last seen in Lafayette.

The family tells KATC that Hannah McMellon was last seen around 8:30 p.m on Sunday, May 26, 2019, heading back to Kaplan.

A missing person’s report was filed with the Kaplan Police Department.

The family says McMellon’s disappearance is abnormal behavior as she has two children at home. Police say McMellon’s phone when called, went straight to voicemail.
