Did you catch Laine Hardy on Good Morning America this morning?
The Livingston Parish native and newly crowned American Idol winner made a stop on the show to share more on last night’s heart-pounding victory.
Hardy sat down with GMA’s Michael Strahan for the interview:
During his interview, Hardy said that now that the show is over, the first thing he’s going to do is go home to see his mom.
“I miss my mom, my family, my dogs, and stuff,” said Hardy. “For just a couple of days or something, then I’ll get straight into working on my music and getting it out to my fans.”
Hardy also mentioned that he’s eager to get home to Louisiana for some home cooking.
“Louisiana. Best Food you’ll ever eat.”
Louisiana is certain to welcome their American Idol back home with open arms. During a recent visit for the show, crowds of people turned out to see Hardy perform.
