Damage reported in northern Acadiana parishes due to weather

Severe weather moved through Acadiana on Sunday morning. Reports of strong winds and heavy rains left damage in many communities especially in northern portions of Acadiana like Ville Platte and Mamou.

Ville Platte Mayor Jennifer Vidrine declared a State of Emergency for the City on Sunday.
