First Baptist Church of Broussard fed first responders and city employees today.
This is the third year the church serves lunch for the employees of Broussard City Hall, police and fire fighters.
They consider it a small way to say thank you for the services provided by the City and its employees.
“We really want to get into the communities and let them know we’re here to serve,” said Weldon Moak, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Broussard. “So one of the key things is working with the mayors office and all the police and firemen and the city workers, and just say hey we appreciate you.”
